Ok, so the lump the doctors took from my Dad’s throat turned out to be cancer. However, they caught it early and it is treatable. It’s apparently a 5 year treatment plan with radiotherapy.  Still on the worried side, but I feel better knowing it has been caught quickly and can be treated.
